From scholarships to legal assistance, The First Generation Plus Success Center staff seeks to provide access to resources to undocumented students to make certain every student’s needs are met regardless of income, cultural background, or residency.
Community-Centered Services: Embedded Counselors and Liaisons
Embedded counselors provide therapy services during their weekly schedules for their populations; liaisons work with program leads to develop programs that are responsive to the community’s needs. Both roles focus on community engagement, outreach, and prevention needs.
CWCI provides a coordinated and comprehensive approach to ensure the well-being of the entire University community. The office achieves this mission through well-being education and training, threat assessment and management, and support and advocacy.
