While we at La CASA are primarily here for USC students we understand that by being a Latinx resource center we are integrally tied to the community. Our main form of community outreach is done through facilitating campus visits as much as we can through our vast network. Visiting groups should schedule a date and time for an official USC tour through the admissions center. Prospective students have the opportunity to ask questions and obtain information on admission requirements to USC and resources available to Latinx students. Current USC students potentially are also available to discuss their experiences and transition to university life, we highlight the following three student groups for you to outreach to for assistance: Latinx Empowering Academic Progression (LEAP) contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org, the Latinx Student Assembly (LSA) contact them at email@example.com and the Latino/a Graduate Student Association (LGSA) contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org. Students are very busy so we encourage you to contact them early as schedules vary and especially towards the end of the academic year it proves very difficult for students to be available. Through facilitating campus visits, La CASA continues its commitment to the community and academic excellence.
